All Indian women love to wear sarees. It’s loved by women for the way it makes them look and feel. It makes women look elegant and beautiful. The Saree has been a symbol of our heritage across cultures. The saree is one of the world’s oldest and perhaps the only surviving garment from the past. Saree, in Sanskrit, translates as “strip of cloth”, and it usually measures six to eight meters in length. The garment is believed to have originated in the Indus Valley as early as 2800 BC, and today represents the national dress of countries such as India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Traditionally, women wear cholis, or blouses, along with a petticoat, or long skirt, under a sari.
